How is this achieved you may ask? When your concreter comes in to place the slab, they use their concrete trowel machines to burn the surface of the concrete. This starts off the process and effect which gives you the 'burnt' look! We then come in, densify (harden) the surface and polish it to protect and enhance the look further.
When using this option, it is imperative that the concrete is poured to our guidelines and the floor is finished as flat as possible. This is because our goal is to remove the least amount of material from the surface as possible as we are only working with the cream on the surface. These floors can only be done with new concrete. And remember, using a highly experienced concreter for installation is key!
